Where does the body end and the templates into which we squeeze it every day begin? Is it even possible to distinguish them or have they grown into an inseparable scrum over the years, like a broken leg in a cast? In Sapiens Territory, Yuri Korec deals with the violence we do to ourselves to mask who we are. But also by violence, which protects us from ourselves or the environment, which stares at us almost constantly.

Sapiens Territory gradually turns us from the performer's body to ours. The work provokes us to start thinking about the weight of everyday encounters, the importance of non-verbal dialogues, what our bodies are forced to do and into, often subtly and unconsciously.
